Our Story
From the Beginning
Noah's Ark Pre-school’s biggest aim is to provide the highest quality childcare in a nurturing and educational environment. We were founded by two friends who have over 15 years experience of managing an exceptional pre-school in Harpenden. Denise and Claire worked to help this pre-school attain an Ofsted Outstanding rating in our previous location in 2015. Now, they have taken ownership!

Noah's Ark has moved to a fabulous new location. Along with all of the original staff and equipment, we will be continuing to provide the high-quality learning environment that helps the youngest members of our thriving community on their journey of education , fun and development.
Imaginative Play
Our Imaginative Play areas are designed to stimulate, engage and develop children’s creative sides. If you have any specific questions about day-to-day activities or the activities available, please get in touch with us - one of our team members will be happy to help.
We are very pleased and excited to announce that Drama Llamas and Menace Sports will be giving weekly sessions at Noah’s Ark! Drama Llamas offers storytelling and drama sessions that will take your child on a journey of imagination and discovery! Menace Sports will be introducing the children to tennis and football. We are sure the children will love these sessions!

Outdoor Play is an extremely important part of a child’s development, allowing them to develop muscle control, co-ordination, confidence and skill, along with the numerous health benefits of being outdoors. Our extensive outdoor space and activities will provide the support and tools necessary for your child’s optimal growth and development.

We are located in a fantastic building that is purpose built for hosting children with two excellent indoor spaces. Outside we have a large play area, most of which is grassed and provides excellent, secure views of the River Lea and all it's wildlife!
